Atlantis, The Palm (ATP), a marine-themed resort located in Dubai, offers guests all-around services, from first-class accommodations to top-notch entertainment. Since 2013, RF Thunder has worked with ATP to successfully establish strong brand awareness in China by positioning ATP as a “must visit” destination, as well as an important Dubai landmark. With limited on-the-ground ATP resources, we proactively forged strong alliances—ranging from airlines to the Dubai Tourism department—to maximize opportunities and promote this special destination. In 2015, we reached out to “Divas Hit the Road”—a phenomenally popular reality show on Hunan TV, featuring China’s top celebrities, to secure shooting its finale at ATP. The result: three TV episodes heavily featuring ATP aired, reaching 13 million viewers and creating huge social media buzz. RF Thunder also handled other major TV productions involving ATP, which included “Mission 24 Hours” and “Exploration of the World.” To keep pace with the rapid growth of the digital world, RF Thunder also provides ATP with ongoing integrated communications strategies involving key online platforms and the use of high-profile social influencers.
